Tinubu pledges to punish Plateau attackers

President Bola Tinubu declared on Saturday that security forces would catch the gunmen who attacked Plateau state while enacting appropriate disciplinary measures.
Armed attackers carried out violent attacks at Ruwi and Hurti and Tadai communities within Bokkos Local Government together with Manguna and Dafo villages causing multiple deaths while they destroyed countless properties.
The president’s spokesman Mr Bayo Onanuga mentioned this development through a public statement.
The president revealed his profound sadness about the aggressive attacks as he gave orders for law enforcement agencies to identify and punish the assailants during their capture.
Unprotected citizens should not face these recent attacks. Intermittent assaults such as these do not belong in our nation when we dedicate endless effort to restore peaceful order throughout the country.
The duty to protect all Nigerians remains unaffected by this terrible incident. President Tinubu declared that his government would strengthen campaigns against evil elements found throughout the country.
The President delivered condolences to Plateau’s government and Governor Caleb Mutfwang as he demanded all communities to assist law enforcement along with security forces by providing perpetrators’ details and securing their areas.

The president demanded all citizens to accept peace and defend collective human values then oppose any form of reprisal across ethnic or religious or political lines.
