The EFCC reported that VeryDarkBlackMan “failed to respond despite several invitations sent to him through his known addresses and communication channels.” The agency emphasized that the petitions contain serious allegations of financial wrongdoing that warrant investigation.

The Commission also cautioned against what it described as “repeated and reckless attacks” by the suspect on its operations.

It further asserted its legal authority to detain Otse, stating, “A valid Remand Order was obtained. He has been granted administrative bail and will be released upon meeting the required conditions.”
