The report provides a comprehensive overview of how Nigerian candidates fared in the nationwide examination.

According to JAMB, out of the 1,955,069 candidates who took the 2025 UTME, more than 1.5 million scored below 200.

On the higher end of the performance scale, 4,756 candidates scored above 320, while 7,658 scored between 300 and 319.

The Board also disclosed that 40,247 underage candidates were granted the opportunity to showcase their exceptional academic potential. However, only 467 of them (1.16%) met the UTME’s benchmark for exceptional ability. Their full evaluation will be determined after they complete the remaining three stages of assessment.
