Tinubu’s aide Hakeem Baba-Ahmed resigns

The Political Matters Special Adviser at the Office of the Vice President Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed resigned from his position.
Sources at the Presidency confirmed Baba-Ahmed the Northeast-based politician of his resignation to the position approximately two weeks back.
Intellectually both Presidency sources and Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed himself provided personal reasons for his departure through his letter of resignation.
The presidential response to his resignation has not become clear to the public since this report was written.
From September 2023 until his departure Dr. Baba-Ahmed took part in many high-profile events on behalf of the presidency while carrying out his duties.
Ajuri Ngelale left his position as Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity before him on September 7, 2024.
Ngelale delivered a statement indicating he needed to take indefinite medical leave because essential health problems impacted his family members. He made his decision to resign after consulting with his family members while also departing from various official positions among which were:
