Singer, Seyi Shay reveals her past relationship with Vector
In a new episode of Sharing with Seyi, singer and actress Seyi Shay shared an exciting behind-the-scenes story from her acting debut in the 2018 Nollywood film Lara and the Beat.
Remember those buzzworthy scenes between her and Vector the Viper? According to Seyi, the on-screen chemistry was completely natural.

“Vector and I… we were actually an item,” she revealed
Yes, long before the fame and the spotlight, there was a spark between them. So when they reunited on screen years later, stepping into their roles felt effortless.

The unexpected twist? Vector’s wife was on set the entire time, watching every scene, including the kisses. But according to Seyi, she handled it like a champ: “She was like, ‘Oh yeah, no, do the kiss!’” Even Vector couldn’t help but shoot her a few side-eyes during the scenes.
Despite the potentially awkward moments, Seyi says the atmosphere remained warm and professional. “He and I have remained great friends regardless,” she added.
