Shettima urges political tolerance in Kano

Kashim Shettima who serves as vice president urged Kano residents to practice political tolerance although NNPP and APC struggle intensely in political control.

On his visit to Kano to offer condolences to the family of deceased Alh Abbas Sanusi Shettima made his appeal for political tolerance.

The Vice President issued this message at a time when Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso faced potential defection from NNPP in the upcoming 2023 general election while opposition forces in the state stood in danger of collapse.

The vice president accompanied by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf with NNPP party leaders met the eldest son of late Galadiman who serves as APC Chairman in Kano.

The Vice President stated Kano holds great political significance in the North while highlighting that its political situations directly affect every state in the region.

You should remain united under any circumstances and politics should never create divisions among you. Kano stands as the core region of northern Nigeria while I come from this northern territory. The events in Kano directly impact every state throughout the Northern part of the country according to the VP.

During his state visit Governor Yusuf delivered the appreciation of the state government along with the Kano residents toward the Vice President.
