President Tinubu departs Nigeria for France on a work trip

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu leaves the country today, Wednesday, for a brief working visit to Paris, France.
This was announced in a statement released in Abuja on Wednesday by Tinubu’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga.

The statement further noted that during the visit, Tinubu would review his administration’s mid-term performance and evaluate key milestones.

Onanuga stated that the president will also utilize the retreat to assess the progress of ongoing reforms and engage in strategic planning in preparation for his administration’s second anniversary.
“This period of reflection will inform plans to deepen ongoing reforms and accelerate national development priorities in the coming year.
“While away, President Tinubu will remain fully engaged with his team and continue to oversee governance activities.
“He will return to Nigeria in about a fortnight,” the statement added.
