Perplexity’s iOS app now features an AI voice assistant

Perplexity delivered a program update for iOS users so they could use its AI voice assistant that first launched for Android devices during the earlier part of this year. The voice assistant enables users to complete tasks through web browsing alongside accessing applications. Using Perplexity the user can obtain an OpenTable application launch with field entries completed for the number of guests along with date and time specifications when requesting an assistant to find restaurant tables. A reservation booking process has already been established through the provided interface yet the user must execute the final action which involves clicking the button.
Users can instruct the assistant to compose emails for selected contacts after which they must manually send them while also using the assistant to establish reminders which it creates for the calendar. Through Perplexity the user can request location recommendations which will display desirable restaurant spots based on their food preferences. Users can request web search assistance from the assistant to locate specific YouTube videos which Perplexity will open on the platform.
