The Abia state Governor Alex Otti explicitly stated that he will not run for the Senate seat following his governorship completion.
He made his statement on Saturday when Anambra Development Unions Association, Aba branch organized an honor reception for him.
Otti denied running for the Senate after his governorship because he viewed these rumors as false propositions meant to mislead voters.
After completing eight years here I plan to start my retirement. Otti declared that he will not pursue a political position in Abuja while asking critics to discontinue their spread of false statements.
