Gov Alia appoints 2Face Idibia as Technical adviser
Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has named iconic Nigerian musician 2Face Idibia as his Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach.
The appointment is part of the state government’s broader plan to strengthen collaboration with the entertainment industry and improve grassroots communication.
The announcement was made on Wednesday during a courtesy visit by Tuface and his wife, Natasha, to the Benue State Government House in Makurdi.

Governor Alia, while receiving the couple and their entourage, commended Tuface for his remarkable achievements in the entertainment industry and for being a proud ambassador of Benue State.
The Governor said;
Let me thank you sincerely for supporting my administration and for helping project it as we look ahead to the future. It’s no exaggeration to say that when people hear the name Tuface, they start dancing—even before the music plays.
On behalf of the Benue State Government and the good people of our state, we are happy to entrust you with even greater responsibility. You have the capacity to do more, and we believe your wisdom and influence will help improve lives across our communities.
I am pleased to officially announce your appointment as Technical Adviser to the Governor on Entertainment and Community Outreach, he concluded.

His new role is expected to enhance the state’s connection with young people and creative talents, while supporting various community development efforts.
2Face, a multi-award-winning artist whose career spans several decades, is a native of Okpokwu Local Government Area in the Benue South Senatorial District.
