Leaving Nigeria was the best decision i made for myself- Bobrisky
Bobrisky says that the best decision he has ever made was leaving Nigeria.
In a post shared on his Instagram page today, April 29, he wrote;
Bobrisky left Nigeria in November 2024 following a series of legal troubles. In April of that year, he was sentenced to six months in prison for abusing the naira.

Although he was initially held at Kirikiri Prison, reports suggested that he spent only three weeks there before being quietly moved to an undisclosed private location.
The situation gained further attention in September when social commentator Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, released an audio recording allegedly featuring Bobrisky discussing bribing EFCC officials to drop money laundering charges. Bobrisky denied the claim, insisting the audio was generated using AI.

An earlier attempt to leave the country via the Seme border was blocked by Immigration officers. However, he eventually succeeded in leaving Nigeria in November.
