IGP summons Emir Sanusi over Sallah clash

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun ordered Muhammadu Sanusi II the 16th Emir of Kano to appear at the force Intelligence headquarters in Abuja for investigating a Sallah-related violent event.
Surajo Rabiu died after the attack that also injured Aminu Suleman during a violent incident.
An investigative meeting invitation reached the Sanusi regarding the violent incident which happened at his area of control during Sallah holidays.
A letter issued by Commissioner of Police (OPS), CP Olajide Ibitoye in the name of Deputy Inspector General of Police Force Intelligence Department (FID) invokes the Inspector General of Police’s directive for your attendance in an investigative session about the Sallah celebration incident in your jurisdiction.
