Hamilton denies losing faith in Ferrari

Lewis Hamilton rejected that he lost faith in Ferrari as he prepares to move forward from his Chinese Grand Prix penalty during this week’s Japanese race.

Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton achieved 10th position in Australia followed by his first victory in Scuderia red during the Shanghai sprint race.

Lewis experienced total disappointment after Chinese Grand Prix stewards disqualified him and his teammate Charles Leclerc because of their technical rule violations.

Before the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka Hamilton indicated to reporters that he lacked any frustration about Shanghai results.

He declared that the rumors about his team confidence were totally false when he read someone suggest this idea.

I maintain full one hundred percent trust in my entire team.

According to Hamilton the depth of anticipation created by his Mercedes to Ferrari transfer had skewed expectations wrongly.

From the perspective of Hamilton he fails to understand why supporters believed our team would achieve initial race dominance and secure its first championship win at this point in our debut season.

“That wasn’t my expectation. The change from new culture to a new team will require time to adjust.

Hamilton expressed no shock when Red Bull made the tough move to remove Liam Lawson from the driver lineup after two races and replace him with Yuki Tsunoda.

Hamilton who is 40 underlines his support for 23-year-old Lawson among the senior figures of Formula One.

“I think there’s naturally a lot of pressure on youngsters coming in,” said Hamilton.

“There’s no way you can get fully on top of a car which is known to be not the easiest car to necessarily drive. Just to give him two races was pretty harsh.”
