Give me N100m, I’ll fight Anthony Joshua – Portable
Nigerian street-hop star Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has pulled out of his scheduled celebrity boxing match against fellow artist Darlington Achakpo Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, the outspoken singer dismissed Speed Darlington as an unfit rival and instead challenged former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua.
“I’m not fighting Speed Darlington again; I want Anthony Joshua with 100m,” Portable declared in the viral clip.

Portable went on to claim that Speed Darlington was merely using the proposed match as a publicity stunt to promote his upcoming show set for April.

He also asserted his dominance in the music industry, boasting that he holds greater influence and popularity than Speed Darlington, who was released from Kuje Prison in January following allegations of defamation against Afrobeat star Burna Boy.

This unexpected turn of events comes just days after Speed Darlington began training for the now-canceled fight. In a tongue-in-cheek video posted online, he was seen purchasing a coffin before heading to the gym with his trainer — a move widely interpreted as a taunt aimed at Portable.

The rapper had also been captured throwing punches and working on his fitness, fueling anticipation for the celebrity clash.
The much-hyped boxing match was initially set for April 18, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Center in Lagos. However, with Portable’s withdrawal, the future of the showdown between the two artists now hangs in the balance.
