Tinubu appoints APC spokesman, 19 state chairmen, and other party leaders to key positions on federal boards.

Bayo Onanuga released the presidential announcement as the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy through an official statement on Friday.

Morka took leadership as chairman at NTA Nigerian Television Authority as Hon. Fatuhu Buhari began his role as Director-General at the National Agricultural Seed Council.

The President confirmed the appointments of important APC representatives to run important agencies within various sectors. Chairman of Bauchi State APC Muhammad Massan received appointment to lead the Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute in Ilorin and Kano State APC Chairman Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas became head of the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service and Dr. Austian Agadavaluator.

Dr. Dennis Itodo from Benue State has obtained the position of head at the National Agricultural Seed Council. Hon. Macdonald Ebere serves as APC Chairman of Imo State carrying out leadership responsibilities at the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Lagos as its president along with two more prominent appointments including Ubong Stephen Ntukekpo who leads National Institute for Freshwater Fish in New Bussa and Chief Emma Eneukwu serving as APC Deputy Chairman (South).

Aminu Musa Bobi serves as APC Chairman of Niger State while holding the position of Chairman at the National Library of Nigeria. The Nigerian Coal Corporation received Rufus Bature as its Chairman after his selection as APC Chairman for Plateau State. Alhaji Abubakar Muhammed Kana assumed the position of Chairman at the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies following his appointment as APC Chairman for Kebbi State and Hon. Donatus Nwankpa took the role of Project Development Institute (PRODA) Chairman after his work with both Abia State and the National Working Committee.

Also on the list are Comrade Mustapha Salihu, APC National Vice Chairman (Northeast), appointed Chairman of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP); Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu, APC Chairman, Abia State, as Chairman of the National Parks Headquarters; Alhaji Abdulmalik Usman, APC Chairman, Federal Capital Territory, as Chairman of the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan; and Hon. Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi, APC Chairman, Taraba State, as Chairman of the Environmental Health Registration Council of Nigeria. The Nigerian Institute of Mining and Geosciences received Sola Elesin as its chairman while Empero Jarrett Tenebe took over the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure and Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani became the Federal Medical Center Azare’s chairman.

The list includes Hon. Aminu Sani Gumel as Chairman of the Federal College of Produce Inspection and Stored Products Technology in Kano while Barr holds the position of Chairman at the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology in Ibadan. Barr. Idris Shuaibu leads the APC Chairman activities in Adamawa State while also assuming leadership of Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology within Ibadan. These appointments constitute part of the government’s strategy to reorganize essential public institutions by placing efficient non-partisan and technocrat leaders at key leadership positions.
