Fanwo asserted that there was never any discussion or plan to harm Natasha.

The senator made the accusation while addressing her supporters during a grand welcome in her hometown, Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State, on Tuesday.

She claimed that although the plot was not publicly disclosed, the Nigeria Police Force had been informed.

According to her, Akpabio initiated her recall process after allegedly assuring the former governor of financial support.

Natasha had said:

The second thing he said was that he should try and kill me. I didn’t make this public, but I have written to the IG of Police.

Akpabio told Yahaya Bello that he should make sure that killing me does not happen in Abuja, that it should happen here so that it will look as if it was the people that killed me here.

In response, Fanwo stated during an interview with Channels TV:

The governor (Ododo) and the senate president never discussed anything that has to do with the suspended senator (Natasha) of Kogi Central.

There was no conversation to recall her, and there was no conversation to assassinate her.
