
Rapper and activist Falz has described the 2020 #EndSARS protests as one of the most intense experiences of his life.

During the #WithChude Live show in Lagos, Falz reflected on the protests, calling them mentally and emotionally exhausting, but said he has no regrets. “I was raised never to regret standing up for what I believe is right,” he shared. “The unity we experienced was truly powerful.”

Falz highlighted that his activism stems from compassion and a sense of humanity, rather than a desire for recognition. He also credited his father, renowned human rights lawyer Femi Falana, as a major source of inspiration.

Through both his music and advocacy, Falz remains a vocal critic of injustice and police brutality in Nigeria.
