He was initially granted bail in the sum of ₦300,000, with two sureties from his immediate family.

Reports indicate that the singer appeared in court last Thursday after failing to attend several previous hearings, despite repeated adjournments, leading to his remand.

According to Police Prosecutor Inspector Olumide Awoleke, the offences were committed on November 18, 2022, around 11 a.m. in Okeosa, Ilogbo, within the Ifo Magisterial District.

Chief Magistrate Ilo found Portable guilty on Counts 1 and 2, sentencing him to one month in prison or a ₦10,000 fine for Count 1, and two months in prison or a ₦20,000 fine for Count 2.
