TECO Group plans to exhibit a new Palm Oil Processor in Nigeria

TECO Group, a leading engineering firm, will launch its Dual-Purpose Screw Press and Digester for Palm Oil Processing at the Agrofood & Plastprintpack Nigeria exhibition. The event runs from March 25th to 27th, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos.
Since its founding in 1980, TECO Group has consistently delivered innovative engineering solutions across Nigeria and Africa. The company actively drives industrial growth by creating high-quality equipment that supports economic development and sustainability. With over 45 years of expertise, TECO Group continues to develop practical solutions that enhance efficiency and profitability.
Executive Director Funmi Babatunde-Dada stated that the new machine improves operational efficiency and minimizes losses for small-scale palm oil processors.
“For 45 years, we have built semi-automated and fully automated palm oil processing plants across Nigeria. Now, we are excited to introduce this innovation for small-scale farmers. This machine significantly advances palm oil processing by helping processors work more efficiently, cut losses, and grow their businesses,” Babatunde-Dada said.

The machine processes up to 500 kilograms of palm fruit per hour. Its simple design prevents common issues like clogging while maximizing oil extraction. A compact motor powers the system, softening the fruit and extracting oil more effectively. By combining multiple steps into one unit, processors save space, reduce labor, and lower costs while increasing their income potential.
“This machine integrates fruit digestion and oil extraction into a single unit. It allows small-scale processors to extract more oil from their harvest, reduce waste, and boost productivity, especially during peak seasons,” Babatunde-Dada added.
TECO Group remains committed to supporting Nigeria’s agribusiness sector with innovative solutions that enhance productivity and sustainability.
