Alisson back early from Brazil with possible concussion

Brazil’s goalkeeper Alisson Becker rushed back to Liverpool FC because of a head impact sustained during Brazilian national team match play according to the Brazilian football federation.
The 32-year-old sustained head contact with Colombia’s Davinson Sanchez during Brazil’s 2-1 victory against Colombia which took place in South American 2026 World Cup qualifying on Thursday.
FIFA requires all players to rest after sustaining a head injury so Alisson needed to depart the field in the 78th minute which means he will not play against Argentina.
Medical staff reported that Alisson received a head knock but is totally recovered with no reported health problems following the incident.
